Georgian Belmont, built in 1775 and fully restored, is in a magnificent natural setting with formal gardens. Extending over three floors, the house is elegantly furnished to the highest standard. With drawing, sitting, dining and writing rooms, kitchen, laundry and 3 bathrooms, the house can sleep up to 12.
From Sumburgh Airport
Drive North on the A970 for 25 miles to Lerwick (allow 40 minutes). After Lerwick, head North on the A970 and A968 for 27 miles to the Toft Ferry Terminal (allow 40 minutes).
From Toft, take the ferry to Yell (20 minutes - booking recommended) and then drive across Yell to the Gutcher Ferry Terminal (18 miles).
From Gutcher, take the ferry to Unst (10 minutes - booking recommended). On arrival in Unst, Belmont House can be seen overlooking Bluemull Sound.
From Holmsgarth Ferry Terminal
Drive North on the A970 and A968 for 27 miles to the Toft Ferry Terminal (allow 40 minutes).
From Toft take the ferry to Yell (20 minutes - booking recommended) and then drive across Yell to the Gutcher Ferry Terminal. (18 miles).
From Gutcher take the ferry to Unst (10 minutes - booking recommended). On arrival in Unst, Belmont House can be seen overlooking Bluemull Sound.
